The Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP)

Scholarship exam for students studying in Class-IX is meant to identify the nurture talent. The examination is conducted every year at State Level by Directorate of Education

Eligibility

  • The students presently studying in Class IX in Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. Schools including the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, School of MCD, NDMC, DCB, etc. in GNCT of Delhi.
    • Must have secured 60% marks in Class VIII in the session 2020-2021, 5% relaxation in marks for the students belonging to SC/ST and PH category

    Examination Pattern

    The pattern of written examination will be as follows

    • Mental Ability Test (MAT): 100 Questions of 100 marks in 120 minutes
    • • Scholastic Ability Test (SAT): 100 Questions (40 SST, 40 Science, 20 Mathematics) of 100 marks in 120 minutes.
    • Questions are in the form of multiple choices with no negative marking.

    Examination Syllabus

    • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT); CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, CIVICS, HISTORY, ECONOMICS, GEOGRAPHY
    • Mental Ability Test (MAT) VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL REASONING QUANITATIVE APTITUDE + DATA INTERPRETATION.

    Selection

    • Qualifying Marks : Qualifying Marks for candidates from SC/ST/PH category is 32% in each paper and for others (General/OBC & EWS) categories it is 40% in each paper
    • Selected students on merit basis as per quota will be recommended for scholarship.
